Meta Ads management · London
We’re a London Meta Ads agency that plans, makes and runs Facebook and Instagram campaigns for UK businesses, with new creative tested every week and Conversions API tracking, so Meta learns from real sales rather than guesswork.
01Why Meta Ads
Your next customers spend time on Facebook and Instagram most days. They aren’t looking for you. They’re catching up with friends, watching Reels and browsing. Meta Ads put a product, an idea or an offer in front of them before they’ve started searching. That’s the real difference from Google Ads: search captures intent, Meta builds it.
Since early 2026, Advantage+ has been the default set-up for new sales, leads and app campaigns. Audiences are broad, placements are automatic and Meta decides who sees what. Manual controls still exist, but in practice your creative now does most of the targeting: the hook, the format and the offer decide who stops and who scrolls past. So that’s where we put most of our effort.
Meta isn’t right for everyone. If people only look for what you sell when it’s urgent (a locksmith, an emergency dentist), search will usually win. If your audience lives on short-form video, TikTok Ads may earn a place alongside it. Your free Meta Ads audit will tell you straight where Meta fits.
| At a glance | Meta Ads | Google Ads |
|---|---|---|
| Best at | Creating demand: reaching people before they know they need you | Capturing demand: reaching people already searching for what you sell |
| Finds people by | Creative and conversion signals: who responds to which ad | Keywords and search intent, refined by bids and audiences |
| Biggest lever | Fresh, varied creative and a clear offer | Account structure, bidding and landing pages |
| Shines for | Visual products, launches, local venues and lead generation at volume | Urgent needs, high-value services and people comparing options |
02Creative testing engine
Broad audiences and Advantage+ do the finding; your ads decide who stops. So we run creative as a system: fresh hooks, formats and offers into test every week, winners scaled, tired ads retired before costs creep up.
The first second or two decides whether anyone sees the rest. We test opening lines, first frames and angles before polishing anything else. A better hook usually moves results more than a better edit.
Much of the time people spend on Facebook and Instagram now goes on full-screen vertical video. Ads built for it (sound on, captioned and native in tone) tend to beat cropped TV spots and landscape edits.
Real people talking about your product often outperform studio content on Meta. We brief UK creators, handle scripts and edits, and run partnership ads from their profiles where that builds trust.
For online shops, Advantage+ catalogue ads show each person the products they’re most likely to buy, pulled straight from your product feed. The feed and product sets do much of the heavy lifting.
Instant forms let people enquire without leaving Facebook or Instagram. That convenience lowers costs. Set up carelessly, it also fills your CRM with people who never pick up the phone.
Advantage+ already reaches many past visitors, so we don’t build sprawling retargeting campaigns by default. Where a dedicated push pays (abandoned baskets, high-value enquiries, win-back), we keep it lean and answer the reason people left.
03What changes
Most Meta accounts we audit tell the same story: two or three ageing ads doing all the work, tracking that misses sales, and budget spread too thinly to learn anything. Here’s what we change.
New concepts go into test every week, so performance never hangs on a single ad that’s slowly wearing out.
Fewer campaigns and ad sets, with budget concentrated where Meta can learn. Fragmented accounts rarely make it out of the learning phase.
We use Meta’s automation where it earns its keep, and switch manual controls back on (placements, locations, existing-customer limits) where it doesn’t.
Pixel and Conversions API set up together, deduplicated and checked, so Meta optimises towards real purchases and qualified leads, not page views.
Copy and claims checked against Meta’s advertising standards and the UK CAP Code, with restricted categories such as housing, jobs and credit handled properly.
Each month you’ll see which hooks, angles and offers won. Those learnings are just as useful for your website, emails and product pages.
04Process
Three steps to get the foundations right, then a weekly testing rhythm and a monthly review that keep the account improving, whether you’re a single London venue or a national online brand.
A plain-English review of your account structure, creative, audiences, tracking and spend: what’s working, what’s tired and where money is leaking.
Pixel and Conversions API with deduplication, event and domain checks, and, for lead generation, CRM lead stages sent back to Meta.
A first batch of concepts across hooks, formats and offers (from your existing assets, our edits or UK creators), briefed on what your customers actually say.
New ads go into a dedicated testing campaign; winners move into Advantage+ scaling campaigns, losers are switched off, and fatigued ads are replaced before costs climb. You get a short written note on what changed and why.
A monthly review of new-customer costs, blended returns and creative learnings, with budgets raised steadily wherever the numbers hold up.
05Measurement
Meta’s reporting is useful, but it marks its own homework. We give it the cleanest signal we can, then check what it claims against your shop, your CRM and GA4.
E-commerce
Meta’s ROAS often includes people who would have bought anyway. We separate new customers from returning ones, so you can see what growth really costs.
Lead generation
Lead stages from your CRM flow back to Meta through the Conversions API, so delivery learns which enquiries become clients.
Whole business
Total revenue against total ad spend, read alongside Meta’s figures and GA4, because each tool tells a different, partial story.
Creative
How many people watch past the opening, how many new ads beat the current best, and how quickly winners start to fade.
06Use cases
Meta suits businesses with something worth showing: a product, a place, an offer or a story. These are the situations where we see it work hardest.

Catalogue ads, UGC and a steady creative pipeline, steered towards first orders rather than repeat buyers.

08Meta Ads FAQ
Want a second opinion on your own Meta account? Talk to a paid social specialist.
+44 20 8686 4577We charge a fixed monthly management fee based on scope: how many campaigns and markets we run, and how much creative we produce for you each month. Your ad spend is paid directly to Meta, with no mark-up from us, and any creator fees are agreed with you upfront. You’ll get a written quote after the free audit.
Meta’s technical minimums are very low, but a useful budget is one that lets campaigns learn. As a rough guide, an ad set needs around 50 optimisation events a week (purchases or leads, say) to settle. For most UK businesses that means starting from about £1,500 a month in media spend, and more if each sale is expensive to win. If the budget can’t support that, we’ll optimise towards an earlier step, such as add-to-basket, and explain why.
Usually a mix. Since early 2026, Advantage+ has been the default set-up for new sales, leads and app campaigns, and for most accounts it’s the most efficient way to scale. We tune its settings (for example, limiting how much budget goes to existing customers) and switch manual controls back on where they protect results: excluding weaker placements such as Audience Network, keeping to specific locations, or running clean creative tests. Each set-up is judged on cost per new customer, not on what Meta recommends.
You need a steady supply rather than a weekly flood. For an account spending a few thousand pounds a month, three to five genuinely new concepts a fortnight, plus variations of the winners, is a sensible starting rhythm; bigger budgets need more. Variety matters more than volume. Meta tends to treat near-identical ads as one, so a new hook, face or format beats ten colour swaps. We watch frequency, click-through rate and cost per result for signs of fatigue, and refresh before costs climb.
Yes, both. We write briefs and scripts, edit from your existing photos and footage, design static and motion ads, and work with UK creators for UGC-style video. Creator fees and usage rights are agreed upfront, and paid partnerships are clearly labelled in line with ASA guidance. If your team would rather film in-house, we’ll brief you shot by shot.
Since Apple introduced App Tracking Transparency, the Meta Pixel on its own misses a share of conversions. We set up the Conversions API alongside the Pixel, so key events are also sent server-side from your website, Shopify or WooCommerce store, or CRM. Deduplication makes sure nothing is counted twice. We improve event match quality within your cookie consent set-up, then check Meta’s figures against your own sales data and GA4.
They can be, but out of the box instant forms make enquiring almost too easy, so quality varies. We add the right amount of friction (a higher-intent form type, qualifying questions, pricing guidance where it helps) and sync leads to your CRM in real time, because a quick call-back makes a big difference. Then we send lead outcomes back to Meta so it learns which enquiries turn into customers. Where forms still disappoint, we test a landing page instead.
Campaigns can bring in sales or leads in the first week, but Meta needs time to learn. An ad set usually leaves the learning phase after roughly 50 optimisation events in a week, and it takes a few rounds of creative testing to find reliable winners. Expect four to six weeks to know which ideas work, and around 90 days to reach a stable account you can scale with confidence. Big edits mid-learning reset the clock, so we change things deliberately.
